The groom had lived in New York for over 15 years, has a large family residing there, and at attendance of the wedding. The day before the wedding the two families got to know each other at the residence of James and Laura, where the family and the bridal entourage had dinner together.
After which they all went to the church to have the wedding rehearsal. The priest was quite entertaining with his New York flare and style with the way he conducted the practice ceremony. Some of us non-New Yorkers were not use too, "I think he was amazed at the amount of people at the practice".
